BMW 2.0 litter TwinPower Turbo 4 cylinder engine

BMW just released some info about the new turbo engine which will power the new models. One of them is BMW X1 xDrive28i. This engine is not a twin turbo engine as you may think when you read TwinPower. This engine will use turbocharger with twin-scroll system design. Engine like this can be found in Mini Cooper S which already has twin-scroll turbo engine.

According to rumours BMW will change the engine of the following BMWs:
BMW E89 Z4 sDrive30i will get new I4 turbo TwinPower engine around September 2011
The new 5-series F10/F11 528i will get new I4 turbo TwinPower engine around September 2011
BMW F25 X3 xDrive28i will get new I4 turbo TwinPower engine around the end of the 2011
