The most common problem with this Bosch ABS modules is that they are cracked solders. You can send your module for repairing or you try to repair it by yourself :)

Thank you for the repair procedure, I believe that my abs module when hot de-activates the abs. Please send me photos and procedure for me to repair the module myself. what do i need e.g soldering gun, what type of solder areas that could be the problem and how to identify loose contact points

    Kind Regards – Paul

I Paul. I’ve your same problem. I do not think that the cracked solder could be do this kind of problem. I think that this problem is caused from a electronic component (like a condensator) with a thermal drift. As soon as possible I try to open and check it. My doubt is only one: the repair How do? I know is not possible remove the component from a special ceramic PCB. Best Regards Claudio

The Admin have right. I open the ABS bosch 5.7. The solders are cracked. Now the abs work fine. Only a suggestion: Buy a solderer with a very thin point. When remove the gel, before the oparations, stay very carefully to thin gold wire because the gel is capable to rip the wire. In any case the problem shoul be located only on the eigth big wire but if you need to replace the gold wire use a particular attention when put the solderer to the gold pitch. I if you stay to much time you loose the pitch. Good luck
